Make an original piece from start to finish
Tufting turns yarn and fabric into rugs, coasters, mirrors, and anything else your heart desires! Tufting projects are typically completed in four steps: tufting, gluing, trimming and backing. At the end of our workshop, you’ll go home with your own finished piece!

Our Story
Founded in 2022, Go Tufting NYC is a Long Island City-based textile art studio.
We focus on developing awareness of handcraft art through creative and originative programs through tufting.
Studio has tufting workshops, customized products and open studio passes (day, week and month).
Healing Textile Art
Go Tufting NYC offers an art place for people who look for a spot to create their own art project. We believe the healing capability from the handcrafting process. especially from the tufting process.
When the tufting gun penetrates the fabric and leaves a soft small piece of yarn in the fabric. With the expansion of the colorful yarn, the surface is soft to the touch. And it cooperates with different groups of colors with complicated personalities.
Tufting is a flexible and elastic textile medium. It has unlimited possibility to collaborate with other art forms. Different combinations with visual languages can produce unexpected results, like soft sculpture, rug and bags, etc. We encourage people to join in our community to release imaginations to develop and build up a fluffy world.
